Dr. Sundos has more than twenty-five years of a stellar track record of increasing market share, profitability and product offering of startups as well as global corporations. His extensive experience in strategy and operations as well as in building businesses to global market leaders includes driving strategic growth and stakeholder value, as well as developing profitable partnerships and forging global strategic alliances.
Most recently, as the Chief Business Officer of Viaspace Green Energy, he led successful acquisitions and divestiture activities, initiated and executed global joint ventures, and devised numerous transactions in multiple industries. As EVP, Strategic Partnerships at PetroAlgae. Dr. Sundos led its strategic growth and secured crucial funding resulting in its successful acquisition by Parable; at Henkel, KGaA, as an EVP & General Manager with full P&L responsibility for $370M Cognis Nutrition & Health, he led the acquisitions of General Mill’s food ingredient business and Vinyals, SA, driving record revenues that resulted in its successful acquisition by BASF; at Mycoses/ Agrigenetics, he led global commercial activities, opened new markets and managed strategic partnerships. Dr. Sundos served as a director of the Board of Vinyals, SA, Première Imaging and Analysis Research; he also served as a director to Henkel KGaA Executive Council, and in the Advisory Board of the World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology.
